Unicorns Lithuania

Ecosystem Growth Lead

Let’s make Lithuania the best place in the world for unicorns to grow!

Unicorns Lithuania is a tech sector association uniting 120+ companies, from early-stage startups to local and international unicorns. In just a decade, Lithuania’s startup ecosystem has skyrocketed: over 1,000 active startups now employ 20,000 people, have created four unicorns, and contribute hundreds of millions in taxes annually.

Our mission goes beyond representation — we are actively building a bigger, stronger, and more visible startup ecosystem in Lithuania.

  ABOUT THE ROLE

The Ecosystem Growth Lead is a senior, outward-facing role at the intersection of strategy, community, and partnership. This person will be a visible builder and connector in Lithuania’s startup scene — working closely with founders, investors, corporates, and ecosystem players to identify opportunities, shape the direction of the ecosystem, and turn ideas into concrete initiatives.

We’re looking for someone with deep ecosystem intuition, genuine hustle, and the seniority to walk into any room — a VC fund, a government agency, a founding team — and move things forward. Ideally a former founder, investor, or senior operator who wants a platform to make a real mark on Lithuania’s tech future.

  WHAT YOU’LL DO

Ecosystem Strategy & Building

  • Map and connect Lithuania’s key ecosystem players — accelerators, VCs, corporates, universities, government bodies — and identify white spaces and collaboration opportunities.
  • Design and drive impactful cross-ecosystem initiatives and programs that accelerate startup growth.
  • Translate ecosystem signals into actionable strategies; bring structured recommendations to the team and board.
  • Represent Unicorns Lithuania at conferences, summits, and public forums — on stage, in media, and in stakeholder meetings.

Community & Member Engagement

  • Build deep, trusted relationships with Unicorns Lithuania members — founders, executives, and startup teams.
  • Drive meaningful engagement: foster knowledge sharing, peer learning, and a culture of giving back within the community.
  • Lead flagship and community events — from member meetups to major ecosystem gatherings — that spark collaboration and deliver tangible value.
  • Empower members to co-lead initiatives and events, fostering decentralized community leadership.

Partnerships & Ecosystem Visibility

  • Drive strategic partnerships with leading tech corporates, investors, and ecosystem institutions aligned with our mission.
  • Co-create partnership models that deliver mutual value — visibility, content, talent connections, or startup engagement.
  • Act as a visible ambassador for Unicorns Lithuania across media, events, and ecosystem channels.

  WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 5+ years of experience in the startup or tech ecosystem — as a founder, investor, or senior operator with an active network.
  • A genuine ecosystem builder: someone who connects dots, spots opportunities, and makes things happen.
  • Visionary yet hands-on: you bring ideas and you execute them. You set direction and roll up your sleeves.
  • Excellent communicator and public presence: at ease with founders, geeks, institutions, and investors alike.
  • Fluent in English and Lithuanian (verbal and written).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with courage to experiment, iterate, and learn in public.

Nice to have

  • Experience in venture capital, accelerator programs, or startup support organizations.
  • Track record of building ecosystems, programs, or communities from early stage.
  • Established network within the Lithuanian and Baltic startup ecosystem.

  WHAT WE OFFER

  • A well-known, high-visibility platform within Lithuania’s leading tech community.
  • Real strategic impact: shape the direction of Lithuania’s startup ecosystem.
  • Access to an unparalleled network of founders, investors, unicorns, and global tech leaders.
  • A small, fast-moving team that values outcomes, autonomy, and initiative.
  • Competitive salary: €2,500–€4,000 net/month, based on experience, with performance bonuses.
  • Benefits: phone, laptop, parking, private health insurance, learning budget.
  • Flexible hybrid work: team days on Mondays and Wednesdays.
